ILLUSTRATIONS

Welcome to my portfolio. I have been drawing since I was 5 and it has been a passion ever since. I always challenge myself and enjoy experimenting with many different mediums. Some of the ones I use the most are pencils, pen, colored pencils, charcoal, and painting, all of which I have samples of below.

I hope you enjoy viewing my artwork as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Belle

Belle pronounced “Belly” is our Lab mix. She came to us overweight, her chest is super huge and round and she has these little micro-sized paws that really aren’t in proportion to the rest of her body. She also likes to sit straight up on the couch and pretend she is human.

She is my reminder that God cares about me even when we are in the middle of life’s storms and can’t see the why of our circumstances. I needed to draw her in a sense to lay down an alter of stones to say He was with me, heard me and was still blessing me in the storm of grief after my last foster sibling left after a 2 year stay.

Fierce

Fierce

Fierce reminds me of the scriptures in Ephesians 6:10-17

We all need to be strong in the word of truth if we don’t want lies to overtake us

About Me

As a small child in preschool I was so bouncy that running seemed so much more interesting at the time than coloring or drawing. When I was 5 years old I finally started wanting to draw and color. By 7 years old I was drawing a hand painting on an art easel, a hand painting on another art easel. When my mom saw that, she asked me to draw an object she put on the table in front of me, to her surprise I flipped the object around in my head and drew it from a side that I couldn’t visually see it. That’s when my mom knew I had an unusual gift for drawing

The Skilled Craftsmen

1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of  craftsmanship, to make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze, and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, that he may work in all kinds of  craftsmanship. And behold, I Myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all who are skillful I have put skill, that they may make all that I have commanded you.
